Meet the Dancers of B_entertained!
Our lead dancer, Alejandro is a super-energetic dancer, motivator and teacher, as well as an all-around fun guy. He is a true hip-hop, break and freestyle innovator who loves the art, music and culture surrounding today’s dance genres. With over a decade of formal training with various well-known choreographers and studios in New York City and Los Angeles, he’ll knock you out with his upbeat personality, slick dance moves and knack for getting the good times going! An instructor at several local dance studios, Alejandro is a master at imparting an energy that is impossible to resist!
With over a decade of formal training and years of experience at the Broadway Dance Center, the Julie Lang Studio and the studio of choreographer James “Combo” Marino, Jillian is at the top of her game when it comes to hip-hop, jazz, dance-hall, contemporary and theater styles. No stranger to the stage, she has performed in many Six Flags productions, on the set of G. Brunot’s “Goosebumps” music video, and was crowned one of Connecticut’s Best Dancers. She’s a favorite of the private party scene, where she entertains the young as well as the young-at-heart!
Formally trained at top New York and Los Angeles dance studios, Jason has some absolutely amazing moves! His favorite type of dance is freestyle hip hop, but he’s highly skilled at ballet and jazz. Besides being an award-winning entertainer, Jason is an accomplished choreographer, teacher and gifted actor. You may have already seen him at local venues, such as the Hartford Stage Company and the Connecticut Ballet, or with the Monsters of Hip Hop tour and the Broadway Dance Company. Currently instructing at four Connecticut studios, his motto is, “Any time is party time!”
Having performed up and down the East Coast from Connecticut and New York, to Maryland and Florida, she’s a pro at getting a crowd on their feet and moving! Her love of freestyle hip-hop dancing has won her many awards and made her a major player on the Connecticut dance scene. She even won an audition for “So You Think You Can Dance” season 12! Currently, Aly teaches at several area dance studios and is looking forward to the next B_entertained event where she can get the crowd rockin’!
